Orange County Dental Hygienists’ Society Free Dental Clinic 2010. Short Version.

The Orange County Dental Hygienists’ Society (OCDHS) has organized a free dental clinic to benefit the women and children of Colette’s Children’s home. Colette’s is a transitional home, which helps homeless women and women with children obtain support and achieve self-sufficiency. The event, that took place on Saturday, October 30th at Cypress College is in recognition of national dental hygiene month and marks the first free dental clinic in OCDHS’ history. Cypress College Dental Hygiene and Assisting Program, local dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants came together to offer their skills and services for free. Cypress College has opened its doors to allow a place for treatment, dental companies have donated supplies, and volunteers from all over Orange County are offered their hearts and hands to make this event possible.
